The short version

There is no account, no sign-up and no login on this site. Your game is stored on your own device. We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages people find useful.

What is stored on your device

The game saves your unfinished board, your chosen theme and your best result in your browser’s local storage. That data never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is cleared whenever you clear your browser’s site data.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5BKCFNSEYJ), a service provided by Google. It sets cookies and collects standard usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site — along with a few events about how the game is used: starting a game, finishing one, using a hint, switching theme, and clicking through to the App Store. We use it in aggregate to see which pages are worth improving. We do not sell data, run advertising, or attempt to identify individual players.

You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, by blocking cookies for this site, or by using your browser’s tracking protection. The game works exactly the same either way.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Children

This site is a puzzle game suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

The iOS app

Monolume, the iPhone and iPad version, collects nothing at all — no analytics, no accounts, no network calls. Its privacy policy is published separately at monolume.tinyserious.com.
